Watts learnt how important community is to the village. In this exhibition, Watts has written ‘Care means community’ in lavender, a plant known for its caring properties that is grown locally in Romania.
Demelza Watts has three pillars of practice, play, pleasure and party. Watts’ collages research, found objects, crafts and experiences to examine the intersections of art, home and the everyday. Conversation, research, collaboration and making combined.
