The work consists of an installation that focuses on the idea of play, its fleeting nature, and the relationship between space and the objects intended for it. The project began with explorations in the village and visits to abandoned places, including the former school and football field.
soil clay, acrylic paint
Discovering some old toys with different geometric shapes in the abandoned school, Teodor used them as inspiration to create new objects, using clay made from the village’s soil. This led to an intervention in the public space, set in another former playground: the old football field.
Teodor Georgescu works with photography, video, and installation. Driven by the desire to capture the unfiltered essence of life, his projects focus on the world’s raw and unscripted events, and the interplay between people and their environments.
